What Made Me Smile #64

What Made Me Smile #64

What are you thankful for today? Having a roof over your head? Legs to walk with? These are things we take for granted everyday and it is important to take just a second in the day to be thankful for what you have in your life.

What are you thankful for-SarahsLifestyleDiary

My weekly What Made Me Smile posts allow me to reflect on happy moments that I have experienced in the past week and allows me to be grateful for what I have in my life. Always remember ”gratitude” in your daily thoughts and you will be rewarded with good things in return.

My 5 What Made Me Smile #64

1- Attended a lovely Creative Womens event hosted by Vicki who is so inspirational and such a positive person to be around. Not everyone you meet in the blogging world will be kind and generous but those that make it to the top and still find time to say hello and reply to your messages, are the keepers.

2-Thankful for having such a kind hearted and genuine friend like Ar’nie in my life. Love you:)

3-I woke up to the sight of blue skies and sunshine today.

4-I heard someone say this on the train to her friend and it made me smile: ”Not everyone you meet in life will make it to your present and future but just know that those that do are worth  having around and making an effort for.

5- Having Tesco within walking distance from me. Yes you can laugh but when you run out of almond milk for your latte, its great you can just pop out for some more and in your pjs (hiding face emoji needed here).

What made you smile this week?

    Hi Sarah,

I didn’t get chance to meet you properly at the Creative Women event but you asked thoughtful and interesting questions to the panel which I found helpful.

What made me smile this week was a walk to school with my youngest and I try to make up stories around large puddles, things like that. There was a particulalrly large one and I said ‘ Quick jump over it, crocodiles live in there” to which my 5 year old replied ‘Don’t be silly mummy, everyone knows Crocodiles live in rivers” ! Ah the joys of age.
