What Made Me Smile #68

I am back with my 5 things that made me smile today. My weekly What Made Me Smile posts allow me to reflect on happy moments that I have experienced in the past week and allows me to smile and be grateful for what I have in my life. Always remember ”gratitude” in your daily thoughts and you will be rewarded with good things in return.

Happy Easter guys! I hope you all had a lovely day. Who went on some exciting egg hunts? I have had an overconsumption of chocolate I reckon and need to detox my system pronto!

The little tot enjoyed himself thoroughly at the Winnie The Pooh exhibition. I do love all the Pooh quotes, one of my favourites is:

”I think we dream so we don’t have to be apart so long. If we’re in each other’s dreams we can be together all the time.”

We do love bank holidays, and if you don’t have kids, you probably love it even more because it means that you can have a lie in. It is a shame the weather is awful. I am so ready for Spring now, who is with me on this one?

Here are my top 5 things that made me smile  in the past week.

My 5 What Made Me Smile #68

1-My cell phone. It allows me to avoid human contact when I want to.

2-Easter of course, so we can indulge in chocolate. My skinny chocolate bars that I make at home are super lush and should probably make a grab for these over Easter eggs.

3-I went for a lovely  birthday afternoon tea at Bentley Hotel and it was my first time here. I would recommend this hotel for functions/birthdays, the decor inside was beautiful.

4-I have started to do a quick 2 minute breathing exercise every morning and it helps me relax and start the day right. I have some great tips on de-stressing, be sure to check this out here.

5- Listening to Peter Andre ”Mysterious Girl” song! Damn I love this song. I remember being obsessed with this Auzzie heart-throb for years.

What made you smile this past week?
