What made me smile today? Three things already and it is only 1pm.
My weekly What Made Me Smile posts allows me to reflect on happy moments that I have experienced in the past week and makes me grateful for what I have in my life. Everyone should keep gratitude in their daily thoughts in order to lead a successful and happy life.
My top 5 What Made Me Smile #46
1-I celebrated Eid with my lovely girlfriends over brunch followed by ice-cream with the tot
2-Celebrated Swedish MidSummer party in style at Aquavit by indulging on some boiled new potatoes, herring and prawn cocktail followed by strawberries and cream. I have to say the best virgin Pinacolada I have ever tried is here at Aquavit:) Fact I learned: Midsummer is a celebration of reproduction and fertility hence the maypole symbol and it is said that on this night you are most fertile.
3-Indulged in kahk (Eid cookies) all weekend. My favourite are the nuts and date filled ones.
4-I planted some sunflower seeds two weeks ago and it has grown by 5cm already
5-I had a lovely breakfast with my bestie at PJ’s in Fulham. Have you been there? A must try. Their truffle eggs are delicious.
What has put a smile on your face this past week?
Remember to wake up with gratitude in your hearts and keep smiling.
