What Made Me Smile #12

What Made Me Smile #12

I enjoy writing my weekly What Made Me Smile list because it allows me to reflect on happy moments that I have experienced and makes me grateful for what I have in my life.IMG_4172

This week has been a tough one for me, and kind of struggled in finding 5 things that made me smile this week. Everyone gets bad days and good days. I guess this past week has been all bad. Never mind, next week can only get better I tell myself. Thanks to my amazing friends (you know who you are) that know how to lift my spirit and get it spot on in what to say to make me feel great again. I love you guys xx

My WMMS #12

1- Me: So I hear you learnt all about digraphs in school today, so what is       that?

Tot: I don’t know mummy.

Me: So what did you learn today then?

Tot: I learned all about garbage.

Me: What? (hysterical). Before I could even ask him again, he was already rambling on about separating the cardboard from the plastic which pretty much gave it away to me. It is great they teach kids the importance of recycling at the age of 4:)

2-I enjoyed some well earned ‘me time’ with blogger babe Banke which involved a chocolate treatment (so good) and spa relaxation time.

3-Seeing how much fun the tot had at the ‘Teddy Bears Picnic” at his school. I love it when I see him happy and smiling amongst his peers.

4-Whilst sitting in Patisserie Valerie, minding my own business, a lady walked over to me and interrupted me to say how beautiful I was. This really made my day:) Thanks stranger:)

5-Discovering the new citrus and mint latte in Starbucks. This is pretty awesome guys, it is a must try guys:)

So that’s my top five! What has made you appreciate life just that little bit more?

I have started the What Made Me Smile linkys. Please stop by and link any posts relating to motherhood/ gratitude/happiness.
