Who’s so last minute.com with prezzies like me?
Well it’s a good thing I have put together this list of goodies and ideas to help you get buying and show your mum some love for Mothers Day!
I don’t know about you, but I always get stuck for gift ideas and that’s presents for any occasion, not just for Mothers Day! By the time I have made my way through, perfume, skin goodies, jewelry and clothing items, I feel like I have hit a dead-end.
I think the best way to start is to think about what they have already and what they might need. Yes I am stating the obvious, but trust me if you are anything like me, you end up buying a gift which actually they already have a ton of lying around.
Cat Kidson is a very cute little shop that has pretty much everything you can think of from camera case covers to kitchen utensils to vanity cases like the one here. This Button Rose Quilted Vanity Case gift set comes with a rectangular mirror and two empty 100mls bottle all at £30. Now that’s a bargain.
If a vanity case doesn’t tickle your fancy, then a Pembridge Rose Shawl might just do the trick; also from Cat Kidson. It is large enough to wrap around twice and a great way to finish off a look all at a £35.
For more expensive taste, this Valentino silk floral scarf is just perfect, priced at £250. This elegant scarf will look good knotted around the neck with a vest top and a pair of jeans; great look for Spring which is just around the corner.
If a combo of perfume and make-up is the way to go then this gorgeous limited edition trio from Fendi is exactly what you might be looking for. This set from Harrods contains the L’Acquarossa Eau Du Parfum, lip gloss and nail varnish. Better still, red would suit any skin tone so you can’t go wrong with this gift, priced is £86.
If you think your mum would like a nice piece jewelry accessory, then this Swarovski pop crystal bracelet is a good choice, priced at £34, it is defiantly a bargain! The crystal spheres sit along a thin gold chain making it an elegant accessory.
If some candles are needed for an added glamour to home space then these Molton Brown candle set from Harrods is the way to go and only £42.
How cute is this Mulberry Willow Tote? It comes at a whopping pric tag of £1600 but what a great way to brighten up your accessory (if your budget can stretch this far). This soft ballet pink bag will never go out of fashion.
Or if all the above is just not what you are looking for then an afternoon tea is also a great way to pamper your mum and make her feel special. Who would say no to scones and pastries? From my experience Harrods and the Browns Hotel do great a afternoon tea
Hope that has given you guys some ideas for Mothers Day gifts:) Happy spending London
