Finding happiness in yourself is important. How do you find happiness? I enjoy writing my weekly What Made Me Smile list because it allows me to reflect on happy moments that I have experienced in the past week and makes me grateful for what I have in my life. It is time for my happy moments of the week. It is just the little things that can make you smile.
All bundled up in my big Zara scarf:)
It has been a hectic week for me. I guess coming up to Christmas, everyone is busy with Christmas events and gatherings. I woke up today to see frost on the cars and icy roads, so hardly anything to smile about.
Another day, another blessing I tell myself. It is just the little things in life that can make you smile.
My top 5 What Made Me Smile list
- Having Christmas lunch with the girls. Love catching up with my peeps
- A bit late to discover the boomerang app I know, but I am in love
- Blessed to have been gifted a Winter warmer fury coat from Kaleidscope that has been my saviour in this cold weather. Stay tuned for the blog post on this
- Me: No more sweets, they are bad for your teeth! You can eat an orange instead
Tot: Alright mummy, keep your hair on!
WHAT?? Where did he pick that up from I say to myself watching the queue of customers have a chuckle.
5.Discovered how to make the healthiest brownie:) Stay tuned, you will be surprised 3 ingredients only, well actually 3 and a half. And it is super delicious, low-calorie and no refined sugar.
So what has put a smile on your faces this past week? Do tell and share.
I write this yesterday after having a lovely meeting with the lovely Ola and now I am about to go window shopping:) I passed Pierre Marcolini on Maryleborne High Street, and their hot chocolate is calling for me. They use 77% dark chocolate with milk and a dash of vanilla to make it. You must try their chocolate and macaroons here, divine:) The wrapping and boxing sure does give you a pretty good idea of the quality of chocolates here.
