Calling on all you yummy mummys to head over to Bocketts Farm for a serious day of fun-filled with animal feeding, pony rides, soft play and much more!
I was a tad bit skeptical about venturing out to the farm with the weather being too cold and frightened my toes would freeze but I am glad my yummy mummy friend Chloe persuaded me to go in the end. It was a gorgeous sunny day and it didn’t rain once! yeaaaa
We set off just after breakfast (best to get there early if you want to avoid the mad rush hour at 3.30pm), may as well make use of the day since it was an hours drive away. They have free parking on site.
The first thing I noticed as we entered were the tractors. Of course my little tot ran straight towards it. Bless him, he loved it.
You walk in and you are met with a huge trampoline, some more tractors, soft play and a cute little cafe tucked in the corner offering hot drinks and patisseries.
I think Chloe’s Birkin feels a little left out.
Catching some sun.
We stopped off for lunch at the tea room which is the cutest place:) All food is homemade and it has that warmly homey feel to it.
Rabbit stroking time.
It was a bit too cold for the outdoor play area so we headed for the pony ride. Be aware to check the board to see when the events take place (tractor rides, animal handling, pony rides etc)
It was the first time my little tot rode a pony so it was a memorable experience for me and for him! he loved it, ”orsy orsy mama”.
We ended the day with some indoor soft play time. Weeee and it was time to go home.
Fun packed day, loved every second of it and I would definitely go again. Maybe in the Summer this time!
