The best way to start the day, a full on breakfast.
I was spoilt for choice with the diversity of pastries, bread, salads, fruits, cereals and dessert stands.
Some scrambled eggs with falafel and foul with a side of muesli and salad. No breakfast is complete without foul (broad beans) and falafel, well no egyptian breakfast is. Ok so the Egyptians on the trip were not too excited about this since they eat this everyday but I was jumping for joy at the sight of them. Yes sad I know.
You would think a good walk or run on the beach would be needed after a full on breakfast but instead me and my sister headed to club 88 to relax by the pool and beach to catch some sun but not before checking out the beautiful scenery that hit us!
We made a friend on the beach. Anyone that knows me knows that I hate dogs! but luckily this one was harmless. Heba’s pal Sherief apparently takes the little dog everywhere, he was partying the night before so as a remedy for some relaxation time, he opted for some sunbathing. Great move!
Pondering on what to order for lunch….
I settled for a mixed salad for lunch.
Me and my sister spent 5 minutes laughing at the rules and regulations printed at the back of the menu ermm no dogs, well I think a few broke that rule. The funniest was ”no swimming with your clothes on…its T shirts, galabeyas..das ist super balady…lolol” and ”dont drag the furniture into the pool, earlier experiments by a drunken Dutch folk has proven that”.
Some Vogue reading and relaxation time. Nothing beats some sun, a great view and a magazine.
Spring romance with the sun and sea.
Any fishes down there?
