Some Jewish history

Some Jewish history

In the last few days, we managed to jam pack the Jewish museums, Jewish Holocaust, the Berlin wall and Anne Frank museum.

As we were tourists, we took extra long at each site because of our obsession with photo taking, (well more mine)! Plus we were three girls so it took a couple of takes to get the ‘right’ picture!

It rained again!

This is interesting to note! No further comment! Know your history!

We learned so much about the Holocaust so this was very interesting for us to see and read about the history. We made just in time to get reasonably good pictures at the holocaust site.

We couldn’t help ourselves and stopped off for a quick crepe and I must say the gentlemen here were incredibly nice! they were closing up (we only realised at the end) but re heated the crepe and hot chocolate machine for us! They couldn’t have grown up in Berlin we figured, they were far too nice.

We stopped off to browse another Christmas market and settled for dinner at Vapiano. Anyone been to the Vapiano here in London? It is great, it is on Great Portland street. They make your pizza/pasta/salad in front of you and you choose the type of pasta/sauce/toppings:)

And how cute are these Christmas displays!

Anyone fancy a hot dog?

One of the highlights was definitely seeing the Anne Frank museum. I grew up reading her diary and learned a lot about this era at school so it was very touching.

This was the entrance to the museum! How original is this?

Timeline of her life was amazing to read, just incredible.

Her first photos. It is amazing how they managed to recover all this!

What do you think? Dummies  changed much since the 1940s?

Excuse the quality of some of these photos as they were taken through a glass.

After seeing the museum, I feel the need to read her diary again. Let’s get shopping on Amazon and see what I can find:)
