Yep I am embracing the season regardless of what the Weather Man might have to say!
With blue skies making an appearance every now and again, the wind rustling through the trees and with the drop of rain here and there, putting an outfit together becomes a difficult task. I settled for pumps, jeans (suitable for any weather really) and threw on a light jacket.
With the Summer approaching, all things that involves flowers always gets me in that Summer vibe mood!
For a week, Liz Earle pretty much put together awesome events at their store in Duke of York Square, in Chelsea. I attend the headdress day. I’m obsessed with head bands and flowers, so the combination of the two got me super excited.
A bit of wire, some green sticky tape and a bunch of flowers and this is created. I have to say these girls are very talented and know how to arrange the flowers in the best way, and better still it took her less than 3 minutes to out this together!
What do you all think? Pretty awesome I’d say.
Anyone needs any flower arrangements for an event, they are the people to contact- The Flower Appreciation Society.
Refreshments ready to hand. I was loving this gorgeous lemon drink.
I want to take this beach chair home with me! How cute is this? It was just a tad too big to fit into my handbag and run away with it.
Made a quick stop at the book section and picked this up. Fascinating to know which foods contain the most antioxidants and how good they are for your body!
All that’s missing is my swimwear, some sunscreen and some flip-flops.
I went home with some soothing eye lotion and a treatment mask. I personally absolutely love the Liz Earle toner. I switched recently to the Sisley toner and to be honest they both do a great job so I will be sticking to Liz Earle since it’s half the price.
For Friday, an afternoon tea was served to all the visitors. #cakefriday.
I was particularly interested in the gluten-free black bean date brownie! I must try and find this recipe. I pretty much tried everything. The motto ”a moment on the lips and a lifetime on the hips’ clearly wasn’t ringing in my ears loud enough! But hey, Fridays are always my naughty days.

Anyone out there a fan of Liz Earle?
I would love to hear your views on the rinse off foaming cleanser. Does anyone use it?
It’s an award-winning cleanser and their best seller product. I used it a couple of times, but found the usage very time-consuming, having to use a cloth to rinse out the product and plus I found it hard to rinse off the make up from the muslin cloth although I was given a great tip which was to wring it out under running warm water, so will be testing this out.
