Carb-free pizza bases! If gluten doesn’t agree with you, or you want a change from the normal flour base pizza’s but still want to enjoy pizza night then I have the perfect recipe for you.
It is super easy to make and tastes great. I actually prefer it to flour base pizzas.
Recipe for about 6 small bases:
2 cups of rice cauliflower
1/2 cup of grated cheese or mozzarella
a pinch of salt
1tsp of mixed herbs
1-To rice the cauliflower you can either grate it (remove the stems) or blend in a blender
2-cook the cauliflower by adding a 1/4 cup of water and placing in a bowl and microwave for 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally. It should be slightly moist after this time
3-add the eggs, salt and cheese to the cooked cauliflower and give it a good mix.
4- stir in your herbs
5- Grease a flat baking tray and form round bases about 1 cm thick and 4-5 inches in diameter (if it is too thin, it will stick to the tray)
6- bake for about 15-2 minutes until golden brown. They will be a little soft to touch.
7- Add your toppings and pop it back into the oven for another 10-15 minutes.
And that is your flour, carb free pizza all ready to be munched on. Easy Pizz-ay
