
Valentines Day is almost here and that means it is time to spoil your other half with the sweeter things in life! NOT!
I mean spoil yourselves rotten with these Vegan Valentines Day dessert recipe idea.
With no wheat, no added sugar or butter, these little treats make the perfect comfort treat especially for those with no date tomorrow and will be staying at home watching films after films on Netflix. Ditch the ice-cream tube or popcorn bowls and choose these Vegan Valentines Day dessert as an alternative.
These are the easiest things to make. Just read on, you will be amazed.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups of cashew nuts soaked over nights ( I used gluten-free oats instead
1 cup of ground almonds
4-5 tablespoons of rice syrup (add more if you want it sweeter)
1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
3 tablespoons of melted coconut oil
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
some dark chocolate squares
Method
1-Blend all ingredients together in a blender
See, I told you, you are amazed right?
For the writing, melt the dark chocolate with a spoon of milk and add to a piping bag and write your love messages.
I have eaten about half of it now. Yikes.
