My favourite three breakfast ideas all rolled into one

IMG_0617My favourite three breakfast ideas all rolled into one:) French toast, oats and banana and chocolate. I think I died and went to heaven.

Who’s with me and has a full on breakfast? As they say ‘the most important meal of the day is breakfast’. It is healthier to load up on your calorie intake at the beginning of the day and allow it to decrease as the day goes on. I have to admit, some days, my eating habits throughout the day mimics that of  an exponential curve but I am trying to be good for 2016:)

French toast: Who doesn’t love eggs? Especially when combined with whole grain bread

Oats: My favourite, slowly releases sugar, fills you up and lowers cholesterol

Bananas and chocolate: A tone of goodness, oh and chocolate makes me happy

Maple syrup: We all need a bit of sweetness

All you need

2 slices of toast

2 eggs

A couple of dollops of Maple syrup

1 tbs of oats

Drizzles of Nutella

1tbs of peanut butter

sprinkle of icing sugar

sprinkle of coconut shavings

1 banana


1- Toast your bread (not too long, you don’t want it too hard)

2-Make your french toast with your eggs (keep them warm)

3-Slice up your banana, melt your Nutella and peanut butter slightly

4-You are ready for layering. Layer the first slice with banana, some oats, Nutella and maple syrup, followed by the second slice of french toast, then your third slice with peanut butter, banana, oats and chocolate with the final slice on top with the remaining few banana pieces and a drizzle of maple syrup

5-Finally drizzle your master piece with some maple syrup , oats and shredded coconut shavings.

Get your fork and knife out, make yourself a cup of tea, and enjoy

How is that for a full on breakfast fit for a King idea?
