If you are a lover of cheese, then you will want to read about how to make a cheese board look attractive. Nothing quite tickles my taste buds more than crusty bread and burrata cheese with a dollop of sun-dried tomatoes dipped in olive paste. Yes I know quite a combo right?
Here is a quick down low on how to make a cheese board look attractive. It is a perfect idea as a snack for when you have guessed over and you want something quick to nibble on or for parties.
The best part about it, is that there is no cooking involved, just an empty wallet when you realise how much you spent to buy (hand covering face emoji needed here) your bits.
Cheese board bits
- A large cheese board ( the bigger the better)
- A variety of cheese- brie, goats, camembert, whatever you fancy
- Some protein be it salmon, salami etc
- Some nuts
- Dried fruits
- A few slices of bread
- a handful of olives
- Dark chocolate squares
- Cherry tomatoes
and your imagination….
1-Start at one corner of the board and start filling up the board with your bits.
2-I work in a diagonal pattern starting with the tomatoes (be careful they don’t roll off the board).
3-Be sure to mix things up a bit. Place the cheese in a pattern, next to the salami, then some crackers, nuts. You get the gist of it.
4-Finish with some olives in the centre.
The round balls are my healthy version of falafels. They make a nice alternative to those vegan soles out there. It is seriously delicious I kid you not.
The Cheese board creation is really something don’t you think?
You almost don’t want to touch it after you put it all together. I may have gone a bit overboard with the yellow and choosing.
Don’t forget to say cheese and take a snap of it and share the love with all your friends. #cheesefever
Take a piece of bread or a cracker or two and tuck in. Don’t forget to nibble on the dark chocolate for dessert.
