Brigadeiro love:)

IMG_8163I tried these little treasure at my friends baby shower and fell in love with it. I probably ate five in one go! (Hiding my face with my hands Emoji expression). They are a Brazilian delicacy.

I quickly snapped up the recipe which surprisingly all you need are two ingredients! And would cost you less than £3 to make this! Actually £1.28 because we should all have coco powder at home. And if you don’t, well firstly shame on ya all and secondly, make it a priority item on your shopping list. I mean who doesn’t like a hot cup of hot chocolate every now and again?

To make approx 15 small balls

1 can of condensed milk

2 tablespoons of coco powder

That is it:)

-Pour your can of condensed milk into a saucepan and add your coco powder and continue mixing for about 15 minutes until you get a thick mixture that you can see the bottom of saucepan when stirring.

-Leave to cool until its cold, I would stick in the fridge for 15 minutes. Then smear some butter on your hands and roll up into balls.

IMG_8161Ok, I lie, when i said two ingredients, that was just for the balls but if you want to coat it then that’s an additional by. It is up to you, whatever tickles your fancy, be it sprinkles, raw cacao powder or nuts. I am nutty half the time, ( well that is how guys describe me- another Emoji hand covering my face moment here) so went with crushed walnuts.

IMG_8159IMG_8164They are delicious! Great for a baby shower, kids party, or any event really. If you are feeling something yummy to have with your tea at night, then this will do perfectly.
