Finding happiness in yourself is important. How do you find happiness? I enjoy writing my weekly What Made Me Smile list because it allows me to reflect on happy moments that I have experienced in the past week and makes me grateful for what I have in my life. Recognising gratitude is your gateway to a successful life.
So Theresa May has finally triggered Article 50, although I am not so sure this is something to smile about as of yet. I think more work is needed in terms of certainty in a lot of issues and clarity that is for sure. The telegraph labelled Brexit ”as the greatest disaster to befall the EU in it’s 60 years history”. We will have to wait and see how it all unfolds, only time will tell.
Back to my Top 5s. I cannot believe it is Sunday already. This week has flown by. So Spring is in full swing, we have had a few days sunshine this past week, so already that is something to smile about.
I am sitting here, drinking tea, munching on coconut chips and just want to curl up in bed, but I have this post to write up, and have some job searching to do. Anyone else finding it difficult to find a job that you are satisfied with? It certainly hasn’t been an easy task for me. I have to keep pushing forward I tell myself, something will come up.
My Top 5 things that made me smile this week:
1-I received a lovely Easter card from the tot with flowers painted on it and a painting of a bear. I am not quite sure why a bear and not a rabbit, but my oohs and awwws were still said
2- I was laughing at the comment the tot made to my sister about her sunglasses: ”Those glasses don’t make you look cute ”
3-Got further inspiration for healthy cooking from Hardihood who are the masters of raw cakes.
4-A dinner with my favourite girls whom I haven’t seen in a long time, really did make me happy. It’s my girls that always put a smile on my face
5-Obsessed with the Rye bread from As Nature intended which is in fact only £1.89. It’s virtually fat-free and sugar-free.
