1- Watch movies
A great pass by time activity, two and a half hours will fly by. Grab yourselves a bag of popcorn (115 calories a bag ones, so you don’t feel guilty), if you don’t have somebody to watch the movie with, great, popcorn all to yourself!
2-Flick through facebook status’.
If you are feeling nosey then switch on your computer for a browse, leave a few comments if you wish. You could end up sitting in front of the computer for an hour if you let yourself!
3-Nail it on
Brighten up the day with your nails. And if you are going to add nail art then that’s easily an hour of your time gone. Well it would be for me, I am useless at doing my nails.
4-Indulge in a cuppa
My fav rainy day saviour. Nothing beats a cup of hot chocolate with a side of granola bar or a nice cup of latte if you need a caffeine kick.
5-Read a magazine.
Flicking through a magazine on a rainy day is a great way to get some reading in especially if your day is filled with rushing around doing errands.
6-Experiment different hairstyles
Nothing puts a smile on my face like a good hair up style. Ok I am no professional hair stylist so it sometimes takes me about 100 takes to put a style together but when I see the finished result, I am quite chuffed.
7- Get baking
I lurvveeeeee baking! When it is wet outside, sitting down with a cup of coffee and a side of treat, always puts me in a good mood for the rest of the day.
8-Call a friend
Nothing beats a good old natter with a bestie. Just no bitching!
9-Sit back and put your feet up
I for one don’t get to experience this very much. To me a five-minute sit down is classed as a luxury!
I wish I could squeeze in an hour or two of sleep but with a little one running around it isn’t so easy. But for those of you with no kids, some duvet hugging time is a must. You will wake up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the rest of the day.
